Meet Sepultura
Sepultura is a Brazilian heavy metal band formed in the mid 1980s by brothers Max and Igro Cavalera. The band became a major force in the groove metal, thrash metal, and death metal genres throughout the late '80s-early '90s, with their later works drawing on influence from genres including alt metal world music, nu metal hardcore punk, and industrial metal. Sepultura have released 14 studio albums to date, including their most successful records Beneath the Remains, Arise, Chaos A.D., and Roots. They have sold over three million albums in the US alone, and 20 million worldwide.
