Palace Theatre Albany - Albany, NY

The Palace Theatre is a live entertainment venue in Albany, New York. The historic theatre has hosted several big-name artists such as The Rolling Stones, Jerry Seinfeld, Roy Orbinson, Tony Bennett, Melissa Etheridge and countless others.

Outside food or beverages, professional cameras and video or audio recording devices are not permitted inside the Palace Theatre.

Originally opened as a vaudeville theatre, the Palace Theatre became Albany’s premier movie house with the introduction of “talkies.” Following a few decades of decline, the Theatre closed its doors in 1969, only to be restored and reopened in 1989 as a live entertainment center in Albany, bringing music and theatrical performances to the Capital Region ever since.
