In 1979, the Oregon Zoo became the very first zoo in America to host a summer concert series. In the years since, the series has become a beacon for live music in Portland, bringing big name entertainment and summer fun to the city from June through September.

Low-profile lawn chairs, small blankets, and small compactible umbrellas are permitted (umbrellas allowed only until show starts). Outside food or beverage are not permitted. Professional cameras and video or audio recording devices are prohibited unless approved by venue/entertainment.

The Oregon Zoo is comprised of 64 acres and is the largest environmental education organization in the state of Oregon.
