What to Bring to Oracle Park

When you come to an event at Oracle Park, make sure to bring your ticket and a valid ID, especially if you intend to purchase alcohol. We recommend bringing a credit or debit card and also some cash. Because this is an outdoor venue, it can get a little cold during the winter months (and sometimes year round), so we recommend checking the weather report to consider bringing extra layers and maybe even a blanket. Plus, it might be worth it to carry a rain jacket or poncho just in case the weather changes.

    Is Oracle Park ADA Accessible?

Oracle Park is committed to providing a comfortable experience for all guests. Assistive listening is available, and so is sensory accessibility. The venue is ADA compliant, too. Typically, Oracle Park has special seating and preferred entry gates for these patrons. Be sure to check the policy for your specific event for more information.

    Oracle Park Experience

Your experience at Oracle Park extends beyond the event itself. Discover delicious food and drinks, convenient transportation options, and more to create an unforgettable memory.

Food and Beverage at Oracle Park

Plenty of concessions are available at Oracle Park. Non-alcoholic beverages are served as well as alcoholic beverages including but not limited to beer, wine and mixed drinks.

Although Oracle Park accepts most credit cards (such as Visa and Mastercard), it is prudent to carry a small amount of cash for tipping and for the few vendors that might accept it inside and outside the venue.

Are There Phone Charging Stations at Oracle Park?

Yes, Oracle Park is equipped with phone charging stations throughout. They are usually located in the concourse. However, it’s important to note that these charging stations may require a small fee, so we suggest fully charging your device before arriving at the venue.

How Early Should I Get to Oracle Park?

Arrival times may vary depending on the event, but we recommend arriving at the venue about an hour before the scheduled start time. This gives you some breathing room in case of traffic congestion, parking difficulties, visits to the merchandise store, or if you want to grab some food and drinks before the event starts.

If you plan on tailgating, we recommend getting to Oracle Park even earlier, so you can enjoy the full pregame experience!

Can You Tailgate at Oracle Park?

Oracle Park permits tailgating. However, the regulations concerning open flames, grills, and open containers can differ depending on local laws. Specific events may also have different rules, so reviewing the venue's particular guidelines is always wise when planning your tailgate. Remember that the goal is to create an enjoyable and safe environment for all event attendees.

    Rideshare Drop-off and Pickup Location

At Oracle Park, there are specific pick-up locations for rideshare users. You’ll find the designated pick-up spots at the passenger loading zones near every gate. Using rideshare to attend an event is a great option because it eliminates the stress of finding parking, which can often be scarce and expensive. Additionally, ridesharing promotes safety by providing reliable transportation if you plan on drinking alcohol during your visit.

  • Open since 2000, the Oracle Park: San Francisco is home to the MLB’s San Francisco Giants. The baseball stadium was envisioned, built and paid for by the Giants owner Peter Magowan, who, together with a group of San Francisco business leaders, wanted to help the Giants stay put in San Francisco by building them a new ballpark. It was the first privatively financed ballpark in Major League Baseball after Dodger Stadium was built in 1962. Since then, Oracle Park has hosted all the San Francisco Giants’ home games and World Series games along with professional and collegiate football games, American Idol auditions, operas, special events, and live music concerts.

An architectural landmark with fantastic views of the bay as well as the city’s skyline, Oracle Park has a seating capacity of 41,915, and a standing room capacity of 1,500. The steel and brick structure features two 122-foot clock towers, and pyramid-shaped roofs topped by 45-foot-tall flagpoles. A statue of Willie Mays, one of the greatest players in baseball history, can be found at its home plate entrance. The three-tier grandstand has 24 seat sections with 600 flat-panel high-definition TVs located throughout the park, and a 103-foot-wide HD video/scoreboard behind the centerfield fence. There are dozens of concession stands, bistros and food carts located throughout the park serving traditional ballpark fare as well as a wide variety of specialty food reflecting the unique culinary culture that the city is known for. There is so much to discover at the park that taking a tour of the facility is a must. Tours are offered all year-round.
