empty hockey arena

Pro sports and live music fans in Detroit have reason to rejoice—there’s a brand new venue coming their way. The massive Little Caesars Arena will be home to the Red Wings of the NHL, the Pistons of the NBA, and a variety of live concerts and other events. This $860 million arena seats over 20,000 fans and will open on September 12 when Kid Rock hits the stage for the first of his six inaugural concerts in the building.

The arena features the world’s largest center-hung scoreboard and a transparent, climate-controlled roof. Outside, fans will find plenty of room in Chevrolet Plaza, which blends in seamlessly with the atmosphere of the surrounding neighborhood of apartments, offices and retail.

If you’re fired up for a game or concert in the new building, you might be wondering about parking. We’ve put together a comprehensive guide of 27 parking options around Little Caesars Arena, complete with hours and cost.

Little Caesars Arena’s onsite garage

This new garage will accommodate 500 cars at the southwest corner of Henry St. and Park Ave., directly adjacent to the arena.
