New Ticket Sales: Country Music, Playoffs & the Harlem Globetrotters

Music geeks, country fans and sports fanatics have a lot to look forward to this season. Tickets went on sale this week for a multitude of concerts, playoff games and the Harlem Globetrotters.

Joe Bonamassa  

Blues fans! Joe Bonamassa is hitting the road (and sky) for his upcoming tour. After making his way through the UK and Europe, Joe Bonamassa is coming stateside for the summer leg of his tour. He’ll kick it off Aug. 4 in Atlantic City, NJ and round it off Aug. 27 in Milwaukee, Wis. But he won’t stop there — he’ll begin the fall portion of his tour Sept. 20 in New York — Joe Bonamassa will continue through Dec. 9, where he’ll wrap up the tour in Biloxi, Miss.

Jason Aldean & Luke Bryan

Ready for summer nights and country music? Tickets are now on sale for country music stars Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan.

Jason Aldean is hitting the road April 27 with Chris Young and Kane Brown. It’ll be a busy season for Jason Aldean, with performances across North America through Oct. 8, when he’ll perform at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.

Luke Bryan isn’t slowing down any time soon. His upcoming season is jam packed with performances, from April to October. Prefer your country music shows under an open sky? Take a look at Luke Bryan’s shows — there are plenty of outdoor venues on the list.

Lifehouse & Switchfoot

Lifehouse and Switchfoot are hitting the road together. The duo will begin July 23 in Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium. From there, they’ll hit a number of indoor and outdoor venues, including Boston’s House of Blues and Miami’s Klipsch Amphitheatre. The tour will end Sept. 10 in San Francisco.

Hans Zimmer

In what Quartz Media announced as a “Beyoncé-esque world domination tour,” Russian composer Hans Zimmer announced a 20-country tour, including stops in the U.S. In addition to a performance at Coachella, the composer known for his contributions to hit movie soundtracks, will tour April 14 through Aug. 12 in North America.

Sporting events

Sports fans, playoff season is nearly upon us. The NBA and NHL will both be kicking off playoffs soon. The NBA playoffs begin Saturday, April 15 and will wrap up with a victor Monday, May 29. As for the NHL, Stanley Cup playoffs begin April 12 and last through the middle of June. If you anticipate your team has a shot this year, grab some tickets before it’s too late!
