Exit night, enter light: Metallica is back on tour!

Metallica WorldWired tour tickets are on sale now for the band’s just-announced American tour. Following their Grammy performance with Lady Gaga, the band revealed the stops for what will be its first full-scale tour stateside since 2009’s “World Magnetic Tour.”

The tour will kick off May 10 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore before moving on to other NFL and MLB stadiums like Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, AT&T Stadium in Dallas and the new SunTrust Park in Atlanta. They’ll also be playing the Rock on the Range Festival at Mapfre Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, on Friday, May 19.

Touring with Metallica will be Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat.
