Thanks to Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Long Islanders don't have to travel all the way to New York City to enjoy premier entertainment.

The Coliseum reopened in 2017 after an extensive 18-month renovation, which included a striking exterior redesign featuring aluminum fins and a fully updated interior with new seating and concession stands from local restaurants. The revitalized arena is poised to bring first-class acts and sports entertainment to the Long Island community for years to come.

Before it closed for renovations in 2015, Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum played host to everything from sporting events to concerts from the Who, Enrique Iglesias, Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, Neil Young and Demi Lovato. After unveiling its new facilities with a sold-out concert by Billy Joel-a Long Island native who has held over 30 sold-out shows at the arena-Nassau Coliseum continues to host music events, basketball games, hockey games and large-scale festivals.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early, as doors to the Coliseum usually open an hour before events, and tailgating is allowed in the parking lots beforehand. An assortment of dining options, including gluten-free and kosher food from Long Island-based restaurants, are offered inside the stadium.
