Muse emerged from England in 1994 as a ‘90s-alt rock group. Their music is characterized by their blend of intergalactic sci-fi and government oppression anthems mixed with ballads of love and heartbreak. Over time, their sound has transformed into a genre-blurring powerhouse combo of prog-rock, electronica and pop. They have continued to evolve over the course of their career, stepping away from the Radiohead comparisons that plagued their early years and coming into their own by incorporating elements from every genre including grandiose rock, R&B, funk, and dubstep. Muse has come to be known as one of the best live bands in the world, continuously delivering electrifying performances to sold-out crowds around the globe. They have released a total of seven studio albums to date, selling over 20 million albums worldwide.
