Meet Lizzo
Minneapolis-based singer and rapper Lizzo rose to fame throughout the early 2010s founding a handful of indie/hip-hop groups like Lizzo & the Larva Ink, The Chalice, Grrl Prty, Ellypseas, The Clerb, and Absynthe. She released her debut album Lizzobangers in 2013, followed by the release of her sophomore album Big Grrrl Small World two years later. In 2016, Lizzo released her major label debut EP Coconut Oil. Her third full length album Cuz I Love You was released in April 2019. Lizzo's unique style is characterized by her smart and sassy personality, with her sound described as "an indie Missy Elliot."
