Meet La Roux
Synth-pop act La Roux shot to the top of the charts in 2009 with the release of their critically-acclaimed self-titled debut album. The album earned a Grammy Award and spawned major hit singles like "In for the Kill" and "Bulletproof." Initially, a duo consisting of singer Eleanor "Elly" Jackson and producer Ben Langmaid, the group went on to record a follow-up album, though the effort was marred by unsuccessful collabs, two canceled release dates, and reported conflict between the two. Langmaid left the group in 2014, with Jackson going on to release a second album, Trouble in Paradise, maintaining the La Roux moniker. A third album, Supervision, released in 2020.
