Green Day, the legendary punk rock band, has announced their plans for a new stadium tour in 2024.

The Saviors Tour will kick off July 29, 2024 in Washington D.C. and conclude September 28, 2024 in San Diego. The North American stadium tour will be preceded by various stops overseas in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, England, the Netherlands, and Ireland. The European leg will be supported by Nothing but Thieves, The Nives, Donuts, the Interrupters, and Maid of Ace.

The North American tour will feature support from The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and The Linda Lindas

The announcement was made on the band's official website and social media accounts, much to the excitement of their fans worldwide.

The tour will coincide with two major anniversaries from the legendary band – the 30th anniversary of breakthrough album, “Dookie” and the 20th anniversary of their rock opera, “American Idiot.” The band sure has come a long way from the days of playing sweaty, all-out shows at legendary Berkeley punk venue, 924 Gilman

The Saviors Tour marks Green Day's first major tour since the release of their latest album, Father of All..., in 2020. The album received critical acclaim and was a commercial success, debuting at number four on the Billboard 200 chart. The band's previous tour, the Hella Mega Tour, which they co-headlined with Weezer and Fall Out Boy, was also a massive success, grossing over $67 million and 659,000 tickets.

This tour announcement comes on the heels of a new video dropped by the band, “Look Ma, No Brains!” which was also highlighted during a surprise show in downtown Las Vegas in October. Their new album Saviors is due to be released on Jan. 19, 2024.

Tickets for the Saviors Tour will go on sale on November 10th, 2023 and are available right now at Event Tickets Center.
