The Ferrell Center is located in Waco, Texas, and serves as the home court for the Baylor University Bears men's and women's basketball teams. Additionally, the Bears volleyball team also plays their home contests at the Ferrell Center.
The Ferrell Center opened its doors in November of 1988. As you can see, this makes the venue one of the newest in the Big 12 Conference. Although the Ferrell Center is not as well known as some other arenas in the conference, it still has plenty to offer players and fans.
The seating capacity at the Ferrell Center is 10,284. This is not the largest capacity in the conference, but the school feels that this is the perfect size for their sports programs.
When it comes to modern and updated venues in the Big 12 Conference, it does not get much better than what the Ferrell Center has to offer. It is safe to say that this venue is going to go a long way in helping the school's basketball programs to succeed at a high level.
