Meet Eve 6
Pop-punk trio Eve 6 were just a bunch of high school students when they were signed to RCA records in 1995. With the label refusing to release anything from the group until they graduated, Eve 6 (then named Eleventeen) spent the next three years sharpening their sound, ready and eager to take over the charts – and that’s exactly what they did. “Inside Out,” the lead-off single from their debut self-titled album became a number one modern rock hit in 1998, knocking the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris” from its chart-topping position. The album went platinum and was followed by 2000’s Horoscope, which went gold with the help of singles “Power” and “Here’s to the Night,” the latter of which was a Top 40 and MTV smash hit. The trio released a third record, It’s All in Your Head, in 2003 before temporarily disbanding in 2004. They resurfaced with a new lineup for a series of tours in 2007, before returning with all three of the original members (Jon Siebels, Max Collins, and Tony Fagenson) in 2011 to record their fourth studio album, Speak in Code (2012). In the spring of 2018, drummer Tony Fagenson announced his departure from the band. Ben Hilzinger was added to the lineup shortly thereafter as the band’s new official drummer.
