Detroit Pistons

The Detroit Pistons compete in the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association. Since 1941 the Pistons have been competing with a very high level of success. From 1941 to 1957 the team was known as the Fort Wayne Pistons. Many people are also not aware of the fact that the Pistons played in the NBL before joining the NBA in 1948.

The Pistons play their home games at Little Caesars Arena. Little Caesars Arena, opening in 2017, it has quite a bit to offer. Fans and players love this arena for the same reason they loved The Palace of Auburn Hills, the home court advantage. This venue should be one of the loudest in the league. When it comes down to it, Pistons fans can get downright rambunctious during a big game!

Many great players have competed for the Pistons. Some of the best include Joe Dumars, Isiah Thomas, Dave Bing, Vinnie Johnson, and Bob Lanier among many others.
