The DakotaDome is a multi-purpose stadium located in Vermillion, South Dakota. It opened in 1979 and underwent renovation in 2015. It is now used mainly for football games and concerts but previously served as the venue for other sports competitions and events. With a capacity of 10,500 people and a state-of-the-art solar panel system on its roof, this multipurpose facility has been host to some of South Dakota's biggest music acts like Aerosmith and Big & Rich.
