The Coors Event Center is located in Boulder, Colorado, and serves as the home court for the University of Colorado Buffaloes men's and women's basketball teams. The Buffaloes volleyball team also uses the Coors Event Center for home games. In 1990, the Coors Brewing Company paid the school $5 million in order to name the arena.
The Coors Event Center opened in November of 1979. This is not the newest venue in the Big 12 Conference, but it has been updated over the years in order to keep up with the competition. And it is safe to say that this venue definitely has a lot to offer.
The seating capacity at the Coors Event Center is 11,064. This is the perfect size to give the Buffaloes a great home court advantage when playing through their always difficult Big 12 Conference schedule.
The Coors Event Center is one of the best venues in the conference thanks to plenty of size, modern updates, and a rich history.
