Charlie Daniels Band

Charlie Daniels Band is a country rock group fronted by Charlie Daniels. Daniels started his music career in the mid 1960’s playing backup and recording with well-known artists including Bob Dylan. He was most commonly recruited as a backup guitarist, bassist and fiddler. In the 1970’s Daniels went on to write his own songs, and put out the classic, timeless hit ‘The Devil Went Down to Georgia’. The hit single earned Daniels a Grammy Award and saw significant time at the top of the charts. Charlie Daniels has been a significant contributor to country music and rock and roll and continues to do so today.
