Meet Steve Harris' British Lion
British Lion is the side project of Iron Maiden's Steve Harris. Harris released his first solo album British Lion in 2012. Originating with a band (dubbed British Lion), which he managed and wrote within the early 1990s, Harris kept in touch with the vocalist and guitarist, and the album was written and recorded over several years around Iron Maiden's tour schedule. Harris has shared he feels the album is more of a side project rather than a solo album, stating he feels more comfortable in a band setting. The group have toured throughout Europe in recent years, and released a second album, Burnin, in 2020.
