Adam Young | January 31, 2017
Super Bowl halftime entertainment.
While this year’s Super Bowl LI halftime performer, Lady Gaga, doesn’t have any 2017 tour dates coming up, there are dozens of past Super Bowl halftime show performers who are hitting the road this year. We’ve compiled here the ultimate list of Super Bowl halftime acts who you can see live and on tour in 2017. Who’s on list twice? How far back does it go? Read on to find out! If you don’t see a year listed, no one from that halftime show is on tour. Not even Left Shark.

Special guest: Sting is touring through March.

2002 – Super Bowl 36, Mercedes-Benz Superdome

Headliner: U2 just announced a huge new stadium tour. They’re U2, so they didn’t have to share the halftime stage with anyone at the Superdome.

2001 – Super Bowl 35, Raymond James Stadium

"The Kings of Rock and Pop” Halftime Show

You can see Brittney Spears at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, where her residency runs through May, but you only have three chances to see Mary J. Blige this year.

1999 – Super Bowl 33, Hard Rock Stadium

Of the 1999 performers, only Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is on tour this year. #Longevity

1998 – Super Bowl 32, Qualcomm Stadium

Boyz II Men helped pay tribute to Motown in 1998 and they’re back on the road 19 years later. So is Smokey Robinson,

1996 – Super Bowl 30, Sun Devil Stadium

Diana Ross remains the only halftime performer who ever left the stadium on a helicopter. She’s performing in Las Vegas right now, so we wouldn’t put it past her again.

1995 – Super Bowl 29, Hard Rock Stadium

Tony Bennett did the 1995 halftime show, and he is still on tour at age 90.

1994 – Super Bowl 28, Georgia Dome

“Rockin’ Country Sunday”

Clint Black is still on tour after performing at the late Georgia Dome in 1994.

So is Tanya Tucker and Travis Tritt and Wynonna Judd. Now that’s longevity.

1991 – Super Bowl 25, Tampa Stadium

Admit it: You didn’t think we’d go back this far. Well, the New Kids on the Block hit the Super Bowl in 1991 and they’re back together and going strong. You can see them on tour with Paula Abdul and Boyz II Men.
