Kendrick Lamar The Damn. Tour 2017

Kendrick Lamar announced 17 new concerts this week, which go on sale today. He just slayed at Coachella and now he’ll hit the road starting at Gila River Arena in Phoenix on July 12. Joining Lamar will be Travis Scott and D.R.A.M. This is Kendrick’s first tour since 2015, so expect it to be a big one. Did you know: Kendrick Lamar’s full name is Kendrick Lamar Duckworth.

Dalé: Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias Announce More Shows

Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias are adding more shows to their 2017 tour. They’ll be playing well into the fall, starting at Toyota Center in Houston on September 22 and ending at Oracle Arena on October 28 in Oakland. Pitbull’s new album Climate Change just dropped and Enrique will release his newest album later in 2017. Did you know: Pitbull’s regular name is Armando Christian Perez.

Hamilton Goes Hollywood

The Broadway smash hit Hamilton is about to hit Hollywood. It’ll be playing at the Pantages just off Hollywood and Vine near the famous Capitol Records Building. If you’re looking to make an evening of it in Tinseltown, Eater Los Angeles has the hottest restaurants to try. Beauty & Essex (from New York) and Black Rabbit Rose are closest to the theatre. Did you know: Hamilton actually began as a mixtape.

Billy Joel Sets Madison Square Garden Record

No musician has played more shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden than Billy Joel. Tickets go on sale today for his 91st show on September 30. For comparison, it would take the New York Knicks more than two seasons to play the Garden that many times. In fact Joel plays there so often that he’s considered an MSG “franchise” along with the Knicks, the NHL’s Rangers and the WNBA’s Liberty. Did you know: Billy Joel played the final concert at Shea Stadium in 2008.

Sir Paul McCartney Adds U.S. Dates

The Beatles came to the United States in 1964, and Paul McCartney still rocks. His marathon shows consistently earn rave reviews from fans and journalists alike. He’ll start July 5 in Miami and make his way around the country before wrapping up at the brand new Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. Did you know: He actually got his start on the trumpet.

From here the list of today’s sales takes on a distinctively country sound…

Brad Paisley

Brad Paisley’s new album, Love and War, is co-written by Paisley and John Fogerty, so you can expect his already legendary country guitar riffs to be even bigger. On tour he’s playing outdoor concerts around the country starting at Saratoga Performing Arts Center in May. Fans in Illinois and Nebraska will even get to hear him play their state fairs. Did you know: Brad’s wife Kim was in the video for “I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song).”

Florida Georgia Line

Florida Georgia Line is one of the hottest tours in the country, so it’s no surprise they keep adding shows. The Smooth Tour runs through October. They’re partnered up with Nelly and Chris Lane, while Backstreet Boys will make it a foursome for shows at Fenway Park, Target Field and Wrigley Field. Did you know: Their megahit “Cruise” is the only country song certified for selling more than 10 million copies.

Lady Antebellum

Lady Antebellum is back in 2017, going full speed into the summer concert season. Their new album, Heart Break, drops on June 9. Their tour starts in Bakersfield, California, on May 26 before ending in their hometown of Nashville on September 9. Did you know: Vocalist Hillary Scott and guitarist Charles Kelley met in a bar after she recognized him from MySpace.

Jason Aldean

Jason Aldean is as country as country gets. In 2017 he’s touring with Chris Young on the “They Don’t Know Tour.” The single “Any Ol’ Barstool” just went to number one, making it the 19th number one of Aldean’s career. If there’s a more country song title than that, we’ve yet to hear it. Did you know: He changed his name from Jason Aldine Williams to Jason Aldean to avoid confusion with the NBA player Jason Williams, who was in the league when Aldean’s career took off.
