Johnson’s tour will hit some of the most scenic and well-known outdoor concert amphitheaters in the country. On June 3 he’ll be at Blossom Music Center in Ohio before moving on to Fiddlers Green Amphitheatre in Colorado, the famous Hollywood Bowl in LA and then two shows just up the coast at the Santa Barbara Bowl.
Along with the concert tour, Johnson released a new single entitled “Fragments” off the soundtrack to an upcoming documentary. According to an interview in Rolling Stone, before the tour he plans to release his first studio album since From Here to Now to You in 2013.
After his first album, Brushfire Fairytales, went platinum, Johnson has had four albums top the Billboard 200 chart: Curious George, Sleep Through the Static, To the Sea, and From Here to Now to You. He has been nominated for two Grammys, both in 2006.
