Despite being one of the premier NBA facilities when completed in 1988, Milwaukee’s BMO Harris Bradley Center was one of the oldest active NBA arenas by the end of the Bucks' tenancy. In 2016, the Bucks were told that the arena no longer met up to NBA standards and were given an ultimatum: get a new arena, or their franchise would be sold. Enter the Fiserv Forum, which broke ground that same year and wrapped up construction in August 2018, just in time for the 2018-19 NBA season. This multi-purpose facility is located in downtown Milwaukee and is home to the Milwaukee Bucks and the Marquette Golden Eagles.
The first live event held at Fiserv was a concert featuring The Killers and Violent Femmes on September 8, 2018. The Bucks are expected to make their debut in the new stadium with a preseason game against the Chicago Bulls on October 3.

Fiserv Forum Features
The entertainment block: spans Fourth Street from W. Highland Ave. to W. Juneau Ave. and is a central element of the arena. Features an active space designed for year-round community use with a mixture of dining, entertainment and retail. The block will serve as an important connection between the new arena and existing commercial activity along Old World Third Street.

All-New Garage
The arena project includes a brand-new, 1,250-spot garage located at North 6th Street and McKinley Avenue, just north of the venue. An entrance at North 5th Street allows for three lanes of traffic to enter the facility, with pay stations located on the second floor to minimize backups into city streets. A sprawling top level is the picture-perfect setting for a pre-Bucks game or concert tailgate party, offering extra power and panorama views. The ground level features racks with spaces for roughly 55 bicycles.
Most parking will be paid in advance for arena events, while other parkers will be able to pay at walk-up stations. Costs for games and other events will range between $15-$25. A skywalk on the third level connects the multi-level garage with the new arena.
Although the new structure boasts a design that is intended to alleviate the flow of post-event traffic, it is recommended that patrons leave early to avoid a long wait.
5th Street Garage
The 5th Street Parking Structure, located adjacent to the new garage at 1215 North 5th Street, can only be accessed From McKinley Avenue. Parking in the 5th Street Garage is permitted 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
ADA parking is available throughout the structure, and patrons in need of accessible spots should follow instructions provided by on-site parking attendants to access the spaces.
Limited parking is available for oversized vehicles no taller that 8’2”. Maximum vehicle height is reduced to 7’2” for levels three and up.
Additional Parking Options
Additional parking is available in the BMO Harris Bradley Center Ramp, located at North 6th and West State streets. Ramps can be found next to the Hyatt Hotel at North 3rd Street and West Kilbourn Avenue and to the west of the arena at The Brewery at 902 W. Juneau Avenue.

Security and Entrance Tips
The Bucks highly recommend that all patrons have their e-tickets readily available for scanning to ensure a speedy entrance for everyone.
There is a separate entrance for General Admission ticket holders, located on the north side of the building. Doors (usually) open at 6:00 PM, so fans who are looking to get close to the stage should arrive at least 30 minutes prior. Upon entry you will be issued a wrist band, allowing you to head straight for the floor area.
Bag Policy
The Fiserv Forum enforces a strict bag policy which prohibits back packs, hard-sided bags, and all other bags (briefcases, large purses, luggage and diaper bags) that are larger than 14”x14”x6” in size.
Single-compartment drawstring bags and fashion backpacks/purses are permitted.
All approved bags are subject to inspection upon entry to the venue. Prohibited items will not be able to be stored or checked during an event.
The Fiserv Forum Experience
The Fiserv Forum delivered its very first concert (The Killers) on September 4, and fans were eager to share the inside scoop on the all-new experience. Here’s a bit of what future guests can anticipate when attending a show at this state-of-the-art arena:
The Panorama ClubLocated on the fifth and top level of the arena, the Panorama Club is free to all ticket-holders and features a huge bar with plenty of other options for tables and seating with views of the arena. The Pano Club also opens to an outside deck that provides stunning views of downtown Milwaukee. This inviting new space offers a different arena experience for those who seek it.
“We designed it as a space that works for all kinds of events, whether it’s fans watching a basketball game or a concert, as well as a space that can be used for all sorts of other events,” said the arena’s lead designer Brad Clark. “It’s a good example of what we’re doing to activate these buildings year-round.”
The debut event on September 4 saw hundreds of concertgoers flood the club for some pre-show drinks and skyline views. By the second song of the opening act (The Violent Femmes), most of the space had cleared out as patrons took to the open floors, with about 60 people remaining. Arena staff came to clear out the crowd in preparation for the headlining act following the Femmes set, closing the club for the main event.
Downtown OptionsWith a prime location in downtown Milwaukee, you won’t have to go far when looking for some nightlife. There are several bars and restaurants that line North Old World 3rd Street, east across the river and Water Street and in The Brewery Complex just west of the arena.
Other bars and restaurants that are located inside the Fiserv Forum remain under construction and are due for completion next spring. This does not include concession stands.
Show ExperienceIf the first show is any indication of all future concerts hosted by the Fiserv Forum, then guests can expect their concert experience to be impressively loud. The dramatic acoustics will indeed be a home court advantage for the Bucks.
Several patrons noted that entrances and exits to the restrooms were not marked as clearly as they could be, creating some confusion.
While the Bucks have posted signs indicating ‘no smoking’ areas around the arena and declaring the building part of a no-smoking district, numerous people were seen lighting up on the plaza out front of the arena prior to showtime.
