Meet Beirut
Beirut is an American indie/world band from Santa Fe New Mexico. Originally a solo project of front man Zach Condon, the band was formed when his tracks began to draw the attention of scouts and record labels, sparking the need to perform live shows.
Beirut's sound is complex and ethereal, a confident blend of Condon's indie roots and the worldly music he studied while travelling in Europe. The combination has proved successful to Beirut, as they have released multiple albums, all very well received, and embarked on several world tours.
