The Atlanta Falcons compete in the NFC South Division of the National Football League. The Falcons franchise was founded in 1966, and has been in the city of Atlanta ever since. This has given the people of the area plenty of time to warm up to the team. And over the years this is exactly what happened. The Falcons have one of the biggest fan bases in the league, and this is only going to continue to grow with each year of success.

The Falcons have played their home games at the Georgia Dome since 1992. Although this venue is not the newest in the league, it does have a lot to offer. Modern features and great sightlines make the Georgia Dome a great place to watch a game. No matter where you are sitting, it is safe to say that you will have a great view of the action on the field.

Although the Falcons have never won the Super Bowl, they have managed to win their division and conference on several occasions. In 1998 they won the NFC, and they were division champions more than once as well.

Many great players have suited up for the Falcons. Some of the best players include Jessie Tuggle, Mike Kenn, Jeff Van Note, and Steve Bartkowski among many others.

The Atlanta Falcons have been around for many years, and over that time they have earned the respect of everybody in the league. Falcons’ fans should be proud that they have such a great organization to cheer for each season.

The Georgia Dome is an indoor multipurpose venue located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Since opening in 1992 the Georgia Dome has hosted thousands of professional and college sporting events. And of course, it has also hosted hundreds of other sporting events, special events, shows, and concerts. This variety has made the Georgia Dome one of the most popular venues in the entire United States. With so much to offer, the dome is slated to host a variety of events in 2009/2010 and beyond.

At this time there is only one primary tenant that plays home games at the Georgia Dome. The Atlanta Falcons of the NFL play their home games here, and have done so since the arena opened in 1992. The Atlanta Hawks also called the Georgia Dome home for one season in the last 90's. Although this venue only has one full time tenant, it does not have any problems staying busy on a regular basis.

The Falcons had one of their best seasons ever in 2008 which has led to Georgia Dome tickets being harder to find than ever before. Even though the team is talking about building a new stadium in the future, for now they will continue to call the Georgia Dome home.

One of the biggest advantages of the Georgia Dome is its capacity. This venue can seat more than 71,000 which make it one of the largest venues in the entire country. This works out well know matter what type of event is being played out inside.

Throughout the years many great sporting events have taken place at the Georgia Dome. This includes the Chick-fil-A Bowl each year, college basketball conference tournaments, and many phases of the 1996 summer Olympics. And on top of all these sporting events, each year many musical performers play in front of a sold at crowd at the Georgia Dome.

Anybody who has the chance to see an event at the Georgia Dome should take advantage. Not only is it modern both inside and out, but there is not a bad seat in the house.
