Arthur Ashe Stadium is a tennis stadium located in the Queens borough of New York City. The Stadium is part of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. It is the largest tennis-specific stadium in the world.
Parking is offered on site. Backpacks, coolers, outside food or beverage, noisemakers, professional cameras and video or audio recording devices are prohibited.
Arthur Ashe Stadium became the primary venue for the US Open tennis tournament following its opening in 1997. The Stadium can accommodate up to nearly 24,000 people.
After several years of event delays and cancellations from inclement weather, the Stadium installed a retractable roof in 2016, allowing fans to enjoy the game even when it’s a bit soggy outside.
