Meet Wynton Marsalis


Wynton Marsalis is a classically trained jazz trumpet player born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1961. He shares his renowned talents and contributes by teaching and as the artistic director of Jazz at the Lincoln Center in New York City. Marsalis has created numerous compositions, both in the field of jazz as well as classical. He frequently tours with full-blown orchestras or jazz bands.
