The Utah Jazz play in the NBA league’s Western Conference Northwest Division. Established in 1974 as the New Orleans Jazz, the team relocated to Salt Lake City in 1979. The Jazz had a rocky start to their career in early years, having to wait 10 seasons before they finally qualified for the playoffs in 1984. Picking up their stride, they continued to make the playoffs consecutively until 2004. This success was credited to the dynamic duo consisting of John Stockton and Karl Malone, who became one of the most famed point guard-power forward pairings in NBA history. The Jazz were one of the top teams of the 1990s, with two NBA Finals appearances in 1997 and 1998. Check out the dates and find tickets to watch the Jazz dominate the court at the next game.
