Meet Tootsie - The Musical Show

The musical adaptation of 1982 Oscar-winning film Tootsie is ready to make its Broadway debut! Follow the story of Michael Dorsey, a talented, yet struggling, actor who will do absolutely anything to stay in the spotlight and land a job - including assuming a female persona as Dorothy Michaels. Featuring a score by Tony winner David Yazbek, Tootsie will begin its world premiere in September at Chicago’s Cadillac Palace Theatre before making its transfer to Broadway in March. An official opening is set for April 23 at the Marquis Theatre. Tony nominee Santino Fontana is set to star in the leading role as Michael Dorsey and Dorothy Michaels.
