Crisler Arena is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and serves as the home court for the University of Michigan Wolverines basketball teams. The venue is named after former football coach and athletic director, Herbert Crisler.
Crisler Arena opened in December of 1967. As you can imagine, this makes the arena one of the oldest in the Big Ten Conference. But even though Crisler Arena is old, it still serves as a great college basketball venue.
The seating capacity at Crisler Arena is 13,571. This small capacity makes the venue one of the smallest in the conference. But when the Wolverines are playing good, it is safe to say that Crisler Arena is a very difficult place for opposing teams to steal a victory.
Crisler Arena has been around for many years, and has hosted thousands of college basketball games. This rich history has gone a long way in making it a well known venue throughout the country.
