Sun Devil Stadium is located in Tempe, Arizona on the campus of Arizona State University. This stadium opened in 1958, and since then it has been hosting Sun Devils football games year in and year out. As you can imagine, Sun Devil Stadium has seen some great games over the years.
One of the biggest benefits of Sun Devil Stadium is the seating capacity. For football games, this venue can seat more than 73,300 fans. Additionally, this can be expanded to 76,000 if need be. As you can see, this is one of the larger stadiums in all of college football. This goes a long way in giving the Sun Devils a great home field advantage during each home game.
Over the years, Sun Devil Stadium has undergone several renovations in order to keep it updated. In fact, when the venue was first built the seating capacity was only 30,000. As you can see, it has come a long way since those days.
Although Sun Devil Stadium may be a bit long in the tooth, Arizona State University and its football team love what it has to offer.
