Construction on the center broke ground in 2005, and is expected to rap up by September 2008. With so much to offer, the Bank of Oklahoma Center has lined up many events for the first few months after its opening.
The Bank of Oklahoma Center is expected to have a seating capacity of approximately 18,000. This is large enough to host events ranging from basketball and hockey games to concerts and much more. In October of 2008 the Houston Rockets are set to play the Orlando Magic in what will be the first major event at the Bank of Oklahoma Center.
At approximately 550,000 square feet, it is safe to say that this venue will have plenty of space for visitors to move around. With so much to offer, the day that the Bank of Oklahoma Center opens its doors it will quickly become one of the most well known arenas in the state.
